CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are research peptides that act on the growth-hormone signalling system through different mechanisms.
CJC-1295 is an analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), the natural signal that tells the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. Ipamorelin is a growth hormone secretagogue that acts mainly through the ghrelin (GHS-R) receptor. Because they stimulate the growth-hormone pathway in different ways, researchers have investigated these types of compounds both individually and in combination.
In plain English: researchers are interested in this blend because both peptides are designed to encourage the body’s own growth-hormone system rather than supplying growth hormone directly. Growth hormone and the related hormone IGF-1 are involved in processes such as growth, protein and energy metabolism, body composition and the maintenance and repair of tissues.
